An Easter Blessing – 2026
So much of what we have all been exposed to this past year has been difficult to process. At the same time, we are often confronted with the reality of our own shortcomings in the midst of these trying days. And yet, even in this, the season of Easter draws our attention back to something far greater. It reminds us of our hope, the strength we have been given, and the deep joy found in the convictions that live within us through Jesus Christ. For He is our source, the full expression of the Father, and the embodiment of God’s grace, made real to us through the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.
Easter brings into focus truths we do not always keep before us. It calls us to remember the path our Lord willingly walked so that we might be reconciled to our holy heavenly Father. Through the obedience of the Son, carried out in the power of the Holy Spirit, the way was made open. We are reminded not only of what Jesus endured, even to the finality of death, but also of the overwhelming joy of His resurrection. Because He lives, we too shall live. And in that promise, we hold fast to the assurance that we will one day be reunited with those who share this same faith and who have gone before us into His presence.
Easter also calls us forward. It reminds us that we are to walk in holiness, to follow His commandments, and to turn away from those things that draw us from Him, choosing instead to follow in His footsteps.
I am also mindful of the many I have come to know through this platform over the years, those who share this same faith and trust in Jesus. We are imperfect, every one of us, yet united in Him who is perfect and far greater than we are. In Him we find forgiveness, mercy, faithfulness, patience, wisdom, and the fullness of God’s holy love, all made available through the sacrifice of the Son, according to the will of the Father.
Each of us who believes is a living stone, joined together and anchored to the Rock. Though we now see as through a dim glass, it is enough, for the light of God shines into the darkness, and that light is Jesus.
May our gracious Lord bless each of you, and those dear to your hearts. May He meet your deepest needs, as only He can. And may we, together, lift our voices in praise, proclaiming the grace and wonder of who He is.
God’s blessing to you and yours, my brothers and sisters in the Lord, this Easter of 2026.
From one sheep in God’s flock to another,
Respectfully submitted for your consideration.
Worthy is the Lamb!
Blessings!

Happy Resurrection Sunday. He is Risen.
He is risen indeed! A blessed Easter to you and yours, Michael!
